A shooting location is where the camera actually stands: a film studio, photography studio, house, rooftop, street, or landscape. Music-video locations and photoshoot locations are the same marketplace with different briefs. In Kathmandu, studios in Sanepa or Lalitpur are common for control; outdoor needs permissions and a gaffer.
What to check besides the photo
Power, ceiling height, neighbours, parking, sound (podcast vs generator), and whether you can black out windows. Ask about overtime and what is included. Pair the location with nearby camera rental, lighting rental, and freelancers in that city.
Studio vs on location
Studios are repeatable and weather-safe. Outdoor and residencies give production design for free and take it away with traffic. CineGrid lists public locations such as studios and residencies; more appear as owners add them. Do not expect a thin page for every neighbourhood until there is a real space to show.
