Filmmaking equipment and crew checklist

Camera, lens, lighting, audio, grip, and the film crew who run them — a Nepal production checklist with CineGrid rentals and freelancer directories.

A small narrative or commercial in Nepal often needs: camera body, at least two lenses, batteries and media, a tripod or gimbal, lighting, lav and boom audio, a monitor for the director, and people: DP or videographer, maybe a gaffer, maybe an editor afterwards.

Do not rent a truck for an interview

Add grip when you light interiors. Add a drone only with a drone operator and permission. Tick items against live CineGrid listings and against named freelancers. The checklist is a conversation with the cinematographer and producer, not a shopping list.

Post-production is part of the same production: video editor, colorist, sound designer. Book them when you book the shoot dates.
